Depression, Grief and a Lack of a Muse

So, I decided to clean this site up and start fresh. I'm doing that a lot in life lately--uprooting the old to make way for the new. It hasn't inspired me yet though. I've been feeling a little down, grieving--I'll get to that later though.

I'm going to post links to my poems soon (the ones that are online, at least) as for poem activity I haven't been very active. I've been going through the motions this year. My bipolar disorder and anxieties have been really menacing. I have a few submissions out, most of which are from the past month. So hopefully something comes out of those.

My nana passed away on June 10th, 2017 and it's been really difficult. I've been grieving hard. I've been journaling about it, even wrote a poem for the funeral. Speaking of that poem, it was so important for me to write it. I had a lot I needed to say and I speak best in poems, otherwise I just ramble. I miss her so much.

I'm hoping I find my muse. I have a few projects that are brewing in my brain. Hopefully they'll come to fruition. I'm going to be much more active on this site from now on, as this will be my primary sanctuary.
